Policy on Deposits for Capehart Properties Apartments, Townhomes, Duplexes and Single Family Homes

Your Security Deposit will hold your new residence for up to 30 days.  Please be advised that a Security Deposit is a commitment for a lease for the unit you have selected and is not transferable or refundable once applied.  Security Deposits are refundable, less damages and unpaid fines or fees, within 30 days after vacating your unit in accordance with the TAA Lease Contract.  Security Deposits must be paid in full cashier’s check or money order only, however first month's rent, in rare exceptions and with approval, may be paid over the first two-month period (cashier’s check or money order only.)  Single Family homes must establish a City of Beeville water/sewer/garbage account and provide a copy of deposit slip prior to occupancy of the house.

Parking

Each Apartment has a designated covered parking space.  Duplexes and townhomes have individual carports and houses have a single car garage and all have sufficient driveway to park a second vehicle.   Parking is NOT ALLOWED at any time on the grass, sidewalks, or in fire lanes/no parking zones for resident and pedestrian safety.  Ample visitor parking is available on-street for visitors and additional vehicles.  Vehicles with flat tires, on jacks, or appear to be abandoned with be towed without advance notice by Superior Used Cars on a 24hr/7 days a week basis, telephone (361) 597-0158.

Pet Policy, Fees, Fencing and Registration

A $200.00 non-refundable fee is required for each pet with a maximum of two pets per unit.  Dogs, cats, snakes, alligators, large birds, and over 20-gallons fish tanks are not allowed in the Apartments.  A permanently installed 4-foot high chain link fence or 9’ X 12’ anchored kennel is required for dogs in Duplexes, Townhomes and Houses.  All cats/dogs must be registered, and have collars that display address & vaccination tags.  “Pet-sitting” is NEVER ALLOWED.  Pets running loose will be captured/delivered to the Beeville Animal Control site.  Vicious/attack animals are prohibited.
