THE RIVER LEVEL WILL CONTINUE FALLING SLOWLY.
RIVER IMPACT AT 15 FEET...MODERATE LOWLAND FLOODING OCCURS.  THE PERIPHERAL
CHANNELS BETWEEN COTULLA AND TILDEN CUTS OFF AREAS OF THE FLOOD PLAIN...AND
ISOLATE OR DROWN CATTLE.  IRRIGATION PUMPS...OIL FIELD TANKS...AND
HUNTING CABINS ARE FLOODED NEAR THE RIVER.

COULD BE THREATENED WITH FLOODING.

DROWN.  MANY SECONDARY AND PRIMARY ROADS AND LOW BRIDGES ARE
FLOODED. 

FOR THE NUECES RIVER AT CALALLEN...THE 9 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 9.6 FEET.  FLOOD
STAGE IS 7 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 6 FEET.  MAJOR FLOODING IS
EXPECTED...WITH THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST AROUND 11.6 FEET FRIDAY
MORNING.
AT 12 FEET...WIDESPREAD LONG LIVED RESIDENTIAL FLOODING OF HUNDREDS
OF HOMES ABOVE CALALLEN OCCURS.  THIS REQUIRES RESIDENTS TO BE
EVACUATED...OR TO TRAVEL IN AND OUT BY BOAT.  ROADS INTO THE FLOOD
PRONE AREAS FLOOD FOR MILES...CUTTING OFF LARGE RESIDENTIAL AREAS
FOR WEEKS. 

FOR THE ATASCOSA RIVER AT WHITSETT...THE 10 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 21.3 FEET. 
FLOOD STAGE IS 20 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 20 FEET. FOR THE ATASCOSA RIVER
AT WHITSETT...THE 10 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 21.3 FEET.  MODERATE FLOODING IS
EXPECTED...WITH THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST AROUND 25.8 FEET AT 7 PM TUESDAY.  
 THE STAGE EXCEEDED THE FLOOD STAGE OF 20.0 FEET AT 06 AM MONDAY.  THE RIVER
WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE AT 11 AM THURSDAY.  AT 26 FEET...MAJOR LOWLAND
FLOODING OCCURS.  CROPS ARE DAMAGED AND PASTURELAND IS FLOODED...CUTTING OFF
CATTLE.  SECONDARY ROADS AND LOW BRIDGES ALSO FLOOD. 

FOR THE FRIO RIVER AT TILDEN...THE 10 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 23.2 FEET.  FLOOD
STAGE IS 22.0 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 12 FEET.  MINOR FLOODING IS
EXPECTED...WITH THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST AROUND 24.9 FEET AT 1 AM TUESDAY. 
THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE AT 1 PM WEDNESDAY.  AT 26 FEET...MODERATE
FLOODING - FLOW IS TO THE SLAB ELEVATION OF THE LOWEST BUSINESSES AND HOMES IN
TILDEN.  NUMEROUS ROADS AND LOW BRIDGES FLOOD AND BECOME VERY DANGEROUS TO
MOTORISTS.  HUNDREDS OF LIVESTOCK ARE TRAPPED AND MAY DROWN IN THE
FLOOD PLAIN...FROM BELOW DERBY TO THE CHOKE CANYON RESERVOIR. 

FOR THE ARANSAS RIVER NR 4.4 MI NE OF SKIDMORE...THE 9 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 1.6
FEET.  FLOOD STAGE IS 13 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 7 FEET. MINOR FLOODING IS
EXPECTED...WITH THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST AROUND 13.1 FEET AT 1 AM TUESDAY.  
AT 13 FEET...MINOR LOWLAND FLOODING OCCURS.  THE CORRIGAN POOLE ROAD BRIDGE
FLOOR IS FLOODED.  ABOVE THIS LEVEL...SEVERAL FAMILIES NORTH OF THE ARANSAS
RIVER ARE TEMPORARILY CUT OFF. 

FOR THE SAN MIGUEL CREEK 10 N TILDEN...THE 10 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 9.8 FEET. 
FLOOD STAGE IS 21 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 12 FEET.  NO FLOODING IS
FORECAST. LAST FORECAST FOR THIS EVENT.

FOR THE SAN FERNANDO CREEK NEAR ALICE...THE 9 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 1.9 FEET. 
FLOOD STAGE IS 12 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 4 FEET.  NO FLOODING IS
FORECAST.

FOR THE NUECES RIVER AT COTULLA...THE 2 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 11.1 FEET.  FLOOD
STAGE IS 15 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 9 FEET.    MINOR FLOODING IS
EXPECTED...WITH THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST AROUND 12.5 FEET AT TUESDAY MORNING.
AT 12.0 FEET...MINOR LOWLAND FLOODING REACHES LOW AREAS OF THE FLOOD PLAIN.  THE
RIVER OVERBANKS THE FLOW IN MARSHY LAND DOWNSTREAM...AND CUTS OFF AREAS OF THE
FLOOD PLAIN.  SOME LIVESTOCK ARE POTENTIALLY AFFECTED DOWNSTREAM. 

FOR THE NUECES RIVER 11 S TILDEN...THE 2 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 20.5 FEET.  FLOOD
STAGE IS 14 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 11 FEET.  THE RIVER WILL REMAIN ABOVE
FLOOD STAGE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK...AND WILL RISE TO 21 FEET TODAY. 
AT 20 FEET...MAJOR FLOODING BELOW COTULLA TO BELOW TILDEN OCCURS...AND CUTS OFF
EXTENSIVE PORTIONS OF THE FLOOD PLAIN...REQUIRING WHOLESALE EVACUATION OF
LIVESTOCK FROM THE AREA.  ROADS AND BRIDGES NEAR THE RIVER FLOOD SEVERELY. 
HUNTING CABINS...PUMP JACKS...TANK BATTERIES...IRRIGATION PUMPS AND ANY
EQUIPMENT IN LOW AREAS NEAR THE RIVER FLOOD. 

FOR THE NUECES RIVER NEAR THREE RIVERS...THE 12 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 39.0 FEET. 
FLOOD STAGE IS 25 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 20 FEET.  MAJOR FLOODING IS
EXPECTED...WITH THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST NEAR 41 FEET TUESDAY MORNING. 
AT 40 FEET...THERE IS SEVERAL FEET OF WATER IN THE RIVER CREEK ACRES
SUBDIVISION...FIVE MILES SOUTHEAST OF GEORGE WEST...FLOODING NUMEROUS HOMES. 
THE LOWEST RESIDENCES AND BUILDINGS NEAR THE SOUTH EDGE OF THREE RIVERS BEGIN TO
FLOOD.  MASSIVE FLOODING REACHES MILES FROM THE MAIN CHANNEL...FLOODING HOMES IN
THE FLOOD PLAIN NEAR THREE RIVERS TO LAKE CORPUS CHRISTI. 

FOR THE NUECES RIVER AT MATHIS...THE 2 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 31.4 FEET.  FLOOD
STAGE IS 25 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 16 FEET.  MAJOR FLOODING IS
EXPECTED...WITH THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST BETWEEN 31.5 FEET AND 32 FEET 
MONDAY AFTERNOON.  AT 29.3 FEET...THIS WAS THE STAGE WHICH OCCURRED ON JUN 23
1987...WHEN A STATIONARY LONG WAVE TROUGH OVER NORTHERN MEXICO SENT SHORT WAVES
OVER SOUTH TEXAS FOR 13 DAYS.  RESIDENTS ON THE WEST BANK NEAR BLUNTZER CAME AND
WENT BY BOAT FOR SIX WEEKS. 

FOR THE NUECES RIVER NEAR BLUNTZER...THE 12 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 30.2 FEET. 
FLOOD STAGE IS 18 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 11 FEET.  THE RIVER WILL BEGIN TO
RISE TO AROUND 31 FEET BY MIDWEEK.  AT 31 FEET...MAJOR LOWLAND FLOODING OCCURS
ABOVE BLUNTZER TO CALALLEN...AND PRODUCES WIDESPREAD RESIDENTIAL FLOODING FOR
DAYS OR WEEKS.   LIVESTOCK IN THE FLOOD PLAIN ARE CUT OFF AND COULD DROWN.  MANY
SECONDARY AND PRIMARY ROADS AND LOW BRIDGES ARE FLOODED. 

FOR THE NUECES RIVER AT CALALLEN...THE 1 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 9.2 FEET.  FLOOD
STAGE IS 7 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 6 FEET.  MAJOR FLOODING IS EXPECTED...
WITH THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST AROUND 10.5 FEET AT 1 AM FRIDAY.  AT 9.5
FEET...RESIDENTS ARE ISOLATED UPSTREAM ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE RIVER FOR AS
MUCH AS SIX WEEKS. 

FOR THE FRIO RIVER AT TILDEN...THE 2 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 20.6 FEET.  FLOOD
STAGE IS 22 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 12 FEET.    MINOR FLOODING IS
EXPECTED...WITH THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST AROUND 23.5 FEET MONDAY MORNING. 
UNLESS ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL OCCURS...THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE
LATE TUESDAY MORNING.  AT 22 FEET...MINOR LOWLAND FLOODING OF CROP AND
PASTURELAND OCCURS.  SECONDARY ROADS AND LOW BRIDGES ARE ALSO FLOODED. 

FOR THE ATASCOSA RIVER AT WHITSETT...THE 2 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 17.6 FEET. 
FLOOD STAGE AND BANKFUL STAGE ARE 20 FEET.   MINOR FLOODING IS EXPECTED...WITH
THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST BETWEEN 21 AND 22 FEET AT MONDAY AFTERNOON.    THE
RIVER WILL RISE ABOVE THE FLOOD STAGE OF 20 FEET MONDAY MORNING.  THE RIVER WILL
FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE EARLY TUESDAY MORNING...UNLESS ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL
OCCURS.  AT 20 FEET...THE RIVER REACHES BANKFULL STAGE.  MINOR LOWLAND FLOODING
REACHES THE LOWEST AREAS OF CROP AND PASTURELAND.

FOR THE SAN MIGUEL CREEK 10 N TILDEN...THE 2 AM MONDAY STAGE WAS 17.7 FEET. 
FLOOD STAGE IS 21 FEET AND BANKFULL STAGE IS 12 FEET.    MINOR FLOODING IS
EXPECTED...WITH THE RIVER FORECAST TO CREST AROUND 21 FEET EARLY THIS
MORNING....THEN FALL TO BELOW FLOOD STAGE BY AFTERNOON. AT 21 FEET...MINOR
LOWLAND FLOODING OCCURS.  THE FLOW IS ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE YARDS WIDE AT
HIGHWAY 16...AND PRODUCES MODERATE LOWLAND FLOODING OF CROP AND PASTURELAND.
