Jeffrey Mark Breon,
Jr. was taken by the Wings of Beautiful Angels into the Arms of Our Loving God
on May 23, 2003.
Jeffrey was born in Beeville, Texas on December 22, 1980
to Jeffrey Breon and Leonor Alvarez. He was 22 years old.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother,
Leonor Lerma Alvarez.
He
is survived by his mother, Leonor Alvarez and step-father, Rene Moya of
Beeville, Texas; his father, Jeffrey Breon, Sr. of Florida; two
uncles – Orlando Alvarez of Alice, Texas, and Rolando Alvarez, Jr. of Laredo,
Texas; six aunts – Herlinda Duncan of Laredo, Texas, Rachel
Thorton of Illionois, Irene Ronnow of California, Imelda Alvarez of Beeville, Texas, & Connie
Ashley of Lake Jackson, Tx and Claudia Herrera of Beeville, Tx; three brothers
– Chance Houston of Corpus Christi, Texas, Trevor Houston and
Drake Moya, both of Beeville, Texas; one sister – Kaitlin Moya of Beeville, Texas. Maternal
grandfather – Rolando Alvarez of Laredo, Texas; Paternal Grandmother –Barbara
Ritter of Flordia; Fourteen cousins.
Rosary was held on Sunday, May 25, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at
Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Resurrection was held on Monday, May
26, 2003 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. with burial following at
Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were
Raymond Ashley, Dennis Ashley, James Ashley, Rene Moya, Orlando Alvarez and Chance
Houston. Honorary Pallbearers were Dennis Vasquez, Derke Sandoval, Louis
Sanchez, B.J. Arrendondo, Alix Martinez and Santos Collazo.
Birds of Paradise were released as a symbolic beauty
representing the spirit of the departed loved one being released to begin the final
journey home. Five white doves were released to ascend and circle the
area. Moments later, a single white dove was released; representing
the spirit of the departing loved one. Once released, it joins the
others which represent the Father, The Son and the Holy
Ghost and is lovingly guided on the final journey home.
