Mr. Martin Moreno Sr. was called by his Loving God on September 6, 2003 at the age of 79.
Martin was born in , Texas on June 29, 1924 to the Late Gavino Moreno and Carmen Espinoza. He was a United States Army Veteran in WW II.and was a retired truck driver. Mr. Moreno is survived by his loving wife whom they married on April 23, 1945 Alejandra G. Moreno of Beeville, Texas; One son Martin (Shirley) Moreno Jr. of Rosebrug, Oregon, Four daughters; Minerva (Robert) Bruce, Lupita (Lane) Vidaure and Leonora (Alex) Martinez all of Beeville, Texas and Norma Moreno of Dallas, Texas; One brother; Amado Moreno of Beeville, Texas 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who are Carol, Janet, Lupe, Josie, Thomas, Martin, Genaro, Scholastica, Lucia, Mathias, Toni, Morris, Alex and Benjamin. Rosary was held on Sunday, September 7, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection was held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Rev Richard Gonzales officiating. Burial was followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery # 2 with full Military Honors for Mr. Moreno who he proudly defended this great country of ours. Pallbearers were Robert Bruce, Alex Martinez, Matthew Valencia, Genaro Vidaure, Gregorio Moreno Jr. and Dwayne Ferrell. Go outside, to the fields, enjoy nature and the sunshine, go out and try to recapture happiness in yourself and in God. | |
