Mrs. Hernandez
Mrs. Venancia L. Hernandez, 80, of Mathis, died on Friday, April 18, 2008, in Beeville. She was born on March 18, 1928, in Mathis. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Abran Hernandez of Mathis; two sisters, Ramona Hernandez of Beeville and Jesusita Campos of Mathis; and several nieces and nephews. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the American Legion Hall in Mathis. Funeral services were held there at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Adan Cancino officiating.
