1. Make digital data (editable) without typing
2. Use dark paper if text bleeds through from opposite side
3. Multiple columns: May need to scan each column separately
4. Cleaner sometime if put in NOTE PAD, them moved to word processor (Crtl+A and Copy/Paste
5. San Serif Fonts scan best
6. Use Search/Replace to remove/change unwanted character
7. Easy to recover lost file, if printed
8. Note where file is saved
9. PaperPort sometimes will order pages from last to first
