Mrs. Amelia Z. Segura age 57 was called upon our Lord on Aug. 11, 2004 at 5:26 p.m.

Amelia was born on Feb. 13, 1947 in Beeville, Texas and was a receptionist for St. James Catholic Church and also a member of the St. James Cursillistas. 

Mrs Segura was preceded in death by one brother Joe Zavala and her parents Lionicio Zavala and Manuela Martinez

She is survived by her daughters; Clara (Richard) Ponce of Victoria, Texas, Gloria (Mario) Ramirez and Rachel Botello both of Beeville, Texas; her sons; Henry Segura, Jr. of Goliad, Texas and Michael Segura of Beeville, Texas; her sister Consuelo Pena of Beeville and two Foster Sisters Maria (Jose) Enriquez of Beeville, Texas and Geneva (Dale) Martin of Temple, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

Rosary was recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August, 13, 2004 at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 14, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Balaswamy Pasala officiating.  Burial was followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery # 2.  Pallbearers were Richard Ponce, Jr., Danny Segovia, Andy Carrizales, Jaime Zavala, Henry Segura Jr., Joey Gomez, Bebe Armijo and Martin Galvan.  Honorary Pallbearers were Blanca Paredez, Belia Garcia, Janie Maldonado, and Dubelsa Vasquez.
