Pastor Arthur Holman of Waterville, Maine and Swansea, Massachusetts,  died Thursday, January 5, 2006, at a Rhode Island Hospital after a short illness.

Arthur worked for the telephone company for 30 years as well as serving in the Navy. He spent the past several years as assistant pastor of Abundant Life Church in Swansea.

He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Patricia; and son, Paul.

He was survived by his wife, Kathleen Holman; a brother, John Holman of Texas, a sister Margaret Columbia of Port Clyde; son and daughter in law, Steven and Tina Holman of Goffstown, New Hampshire, son and daughter in law, Peter and Carlene Holman of Plymouth; a daughter, Audrey Cahill of Waterville; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am Monday, January 9, at Mountaintop Tabernacle in Oakland. Dr. Wilson Hickam will be performing the service.
