Mrs. Dora Vidaurri Ruiz was called into the Gates of Heaven on Saturday, May 14, 2005. 

Dora was born in Roma, Texas on March 23, 1926 to the late Antonio and Hilaria (Rios) Vidaurri. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eloy Ruiz Sr.

Survivors include her daughters: Maria Ruiz (Santiago) Cantu of Mathis, Texas and Rufina (Angel) Ruiz of Three Rivers; her sons: Eloy (Mary) Ruiz Jr. of Beeville, Texas and Bert (Gloria) Ruiz of George West, Texas; Two sisters; Concepcion Padron of Mathis, Texas and Bertha Sanchez of Lubbock, Texas and nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

Rosary was held on Monday, May 16, 2005 at St. George Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 also at St. George Catholic Church.  Burial was followed at the St. George Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rodney Cantu, Rudy Ruiz, Michael Cantu, Leroy Ruiz, Bertie Ruiz, Christopher Ruiz, Alfred Soliz and Robert Esquivel.
