Mr. Emil Hausheer passed away on June 3, 2005 in Kenedy, Texas 

Emil was born Jan. 17, 1927 in Queens N.Y. to the late Paul Hausheer and Blanche Gay. 

He is survived by his half-sister; Rosemarie Roth of Sarasota, Fl.  Emil was 78 years of age, and was a retired photographer and served with the United States Navy from May 25, 1950 to March 17, 1954 and was Honorably Discharged and was decorated with the National Defense Service Medal and Navy Occupation Service Medal.

Graveside services will be held at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas on June 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Military Honors.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the Freedom of the press.  It is the soldier not the poet who has given us Freedom of  Speech.  It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the Freedom of demonstrate.  It is the soldier, who serves beneath the Flag, who salutes the Flag, whose coffin is draped by the Flag, who allows the protester to burn the Flag.  It is the soldier, not the politician, who has given his blood, his body, his life, who has given us these FREEDOMS..
