Inez R. Govella
June 22, 1914 - June 25, 2004
Beeville, Texas

Mrs. Inez R. Govella age 90 passed away Friday, June 25, 2004 at 4:25 p.m. at a local nursing home. 

Rosary will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 28, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with burial to follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery # 2. 

Inez was preceded in death by her parents Luz Rodriguez and Francisca Olivarez;  her husband Maurice Govella Sr.;  one son; Ernest Govella; two sisters; Viola Galindo and Ida Olivarez ,one half-sister, Lupe Mendez and two half-brothers Alfredo Rodriguez and Leonardo Rodriguez. 

Mrs. Govella was born in Beeville, Texas on June 22, 1914.  Inez enjoyed spending quality time with her family, cooking and doing arts and crafts with her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed watching her novelas. 

She is survived by two sons; Maurice (Cindy) Govella Jr. of Beeville, Texas, Ray Anthony (Nelda) Govella of  Beeville, Texas; two daughters; Irene Zavodsky Wesley of Corpus Christi, Texas and Gloria Govella of Victoria, Texas. Five half brothers; Luz Rodriguez of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Abel Rodriguez of Dallas, Texas, Antonio Rodriguez of Floresville, Texas, Eusebio Rodriguez of Houston, Texas and Manuel Rodriguez of Port Lavaca, Texas, one half sister; Jesusa Garcia of Port Lavaca, Texas.  Inez raised three three very special children that were always in her heart; Eddie (Patricia) Fulghum Jr, John (Josie) Fulghum and Brenda (Ricardo) Fulghum Chapa; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Michael Govella, Chris Govella, Phillip Govella, Ricardo Chapa Jr., Bryan Fulghum and Eddie Ray Fulghum III.
