Irma was born on July 11, 1939 in Beeville, Texas to the late Leopoldo Villarreal Sr. and Hilaria Cantu. She was retired as a field representative for Woodmen of The World. Irma graduated from A.C. Jones High School in 1958 and was a member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. She is survived by her spouse Alfonso Tijerina of Beeville, Texas; one daughter; Terry Tijerina of Beeville, Texas; four sons; Tony (Liz) Villarreal, Albert (Maggie) Tijerina and John (Melissa) Tijerina all of Houston, Texas and Greg Tijerina of Beeville, Texas. Three brothers; Leo (Mary) Villarreal Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, Jesse Rene (Vivian) Villarreal of Rosenberg, Texas and Johnny (Dolores) Villarreal of Stafford, Texas; nine grandchildren Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be recited on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Gonzales officiating. Burial will follow at the Beeville Memorial Park.
