Joe F. Hernandez, age 82 passed away on October 10, 2005 in a local Hospital.

Mr. Hernandez retired from H.E.B. after 31 years of service also served with the U.S. Army during WW II.

Survivors include his wife Mary Garza Hernandez; one daughter Imelda H. (Alex) Rodriguez both of Beeville, one sister Ester Duran of Rosenberg, seven grandchildren, Troy and Jason Hernandez, Marissa and Leticia Hernandez, Sandi Wosik, also Nicholas and Alexis Rodriguez; four great grandchildren, Christopher, Brianna and Arianna Hernandez also Isiah Tapia.

Mr. Hernandez was preceded in death by one son Joe Edward Hernandez and one grandson Jacob Garza.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00p.m Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30a.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow with full military honors at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery # 2

Pallbearers will be Adam D. Trevino, Troy and Jason Hernandez, Nicolas Rodriguez, Ernest Gonzales, and Alex Rodriguez
