Juanita Leos Soliz, 95, died Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at her home in Beeville.

She was born in Waco on March 9, 1909, to Gorgonio and Melquiades (Revilla) Leos. She was a housewife and a Catholic.

Survivors include her daughters, Lucy (Bobby) Vanden, Carolina (Apolinar) Villafana and Eloisa (Richard) Longoria, all of Fort Worth, and Lupita Sanchez of Beeville; her sons, Robert and Avelardo “Lalo” (Esther) Valdez, both of Beeville, and Gilbert (Soila) Valdez of Sinton; her sister, Elvira Capetillo of Waco; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Treviño Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. on Friday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Luke officiating. Burial followed in Beeville Memorial Park.  Pallbearers were Albert, Balde, Michael and James Valdez, Jerry Vanden and Domingo Villafana.
