Maria Luisa “Lou” Reyes entered the gates of Heaven on February 18, 2005. Maria was born in Knox County, Texas on September 11, 1946 to the late Pedro Reyes Sr. and Christina De La Rosa. Maria was 58 years of age at the time the Lord took her under his arm. She was also preceded in death by two brothers; Jesse and Nicolas Reyes, one sister; Guadalupe R. Hernandez. She is survived by her eleven sisters; Mandy Reyes Gonzalez, Christina Reyes Segovia, Beatrice R. Mendoza, Maria Reyes, Josie Reyes, Sylvia Reyes, Senaida R. Bachlor, Martina R. Rodriguez, Blanca R. Tufino, Lupe Martinez, and Frances Acosta; eight brothers; Francisco Reyes, Pedro Reyes Jr., Blas Reyes, Dionicio Reyes, Santiago Reyes, Roberto Reyes, Ramon, Reyes and Luis Reyes. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 25, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Monsies Gonzales officiating. Burial will follow at the Waldheim Cemetery in Tynan, Texas.
Today I
stumbled and once again was lifted up by an unseen
hand.
