Mr. De La Cruz was born in Laguna Grande, Zacatecas Mexico on May 6, 1929 to the late Gilberto Soto and Margarita Luna. He was preceded in death by his wife Leonora Soto De La Cruz. Picasso was a retired carpenter Survivors include one son Arturo De La Cruz (Ellie) of El Reno Oklahoma; two daughters Linda Moreno and Lillie (Luis) Mata; one stepson David (Anita) Rodriguez all of Beeville, Texas; six grandchildren;12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 7:00p.m. October 2, 2005 at Trevino Funeral Home chapel. Funeral Mass will be October 3, 2005 at 2:00p.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Luke officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery # 2 Pallbearers will be Leticia Mata Martinez, Brenda Lee De La Cruz Goldman, Thomas Jon Goldman, Melissa Yvette R. Briseno, Lydia Mata, and Antonio “Tony” Moreno Jr., Honorary pallbearer will be Arturo De La Cruz Jr.
