Mrs Ramona Saenz Benitez 79 passed away at her residence at 8:20p.m. on April 16, 2004. She was preceded in death by her parents Rafael V. Saenz and Feliz Garza Garcia. Ramona was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Faith. She was married on August 11, 1947 to Luciano R. Benitez in Beeville, Texas. Ramona was born in the Clareville Community. She is survived by her husband Luciano R. Benitez of Beeville, Texas; two daughters; Oralia (Pedro) Nieto of Taft, Tx. and Adelmira "Adel" (Berna) Espinosa of Beeville, Tx. seven sons; Ramiro (Millie) Benitez & Jorge Mario (Debra) Benitez both of Beeville, Juan Urbano "Bane" (Maria Christina Garza) Benitez of Austin, Tx. Luciano (Elsa) Benitez Jr. of Kenedy, Tx Frank (Florita) Benitez of Grandbury, Tx. Mauro (C.B.) "Chichio" Benitez of Humble and Ralph (Isabelle) Benitez of Rosharon, Tx. Others Survivors: one brother Andres (Elva) Saenz and one sister Miss Isabelle Saenz both of Beeville, Tx. 29 grandchildren and 35 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents Rafael and Feliz Saenz; two brothers; Fermin and Federico Saenz one sister Josefina S. Arcia and one nephew Placido Garcia Sr. Rosary was held on Sunday April 18, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral home Chapel with Funeral Mass being held on Monday, April 19, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Balaswamy Pasala officiating. Burial was followed at the San Pedro Cemetery in Clareville, Tx. Pallbearers were Juanito Benitez, Trini Benitez, Frank Benitez Jr. Pedro Nieto III, Quincy Benitez and Marco Cantu.
