Mr. Raymond J. Bellis Jr. age 74 passed away on Oct. 10, 2004 at 8:10 a.m. at Spring Season Nursing Home. 

Mr. Bellis was born on Dec. 22, 1929 in Skidmore, Texas and was a retired boilermaker for Boilers Makers of America.  Raymond was a Baptist and a United States Army Veteran serving in World War II and a member of the V.F.W. of Beeville, Texas. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Joe Bellis Sr. and his mother Ellen Hall.  He is survived by his sons; Joe Bellis of Sherman, Texas, Lewis and Michael Bellis both of Modesto, Ca. and six grandchildren. 

Chapel service was held on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Trevino Funeral Home with the Rev. Norris Jackson officiating.  Burial was followed at the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas with full Military Honors.
