Mr. Wayne Anthony Jacobs, age 60 was called into the gates of Heaven on January 19, 2005.  Wayne passed away at the V.A. Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. 

He was born on Feb. 6, 1944 in Wharton, Texas to the late Clarence Jacobs and Ollie Krouger.  Wayne was also preceded in death by his sister Jerry Dooley.   

He was a retired truck driver and a Veteran of the United States Navy and served in Vietnam and was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal. 

He is survived by his spouse Beverly Suiter Jacobs of Skidmore; one daughter Wynette Jacobs of Alice, Texas; one step-daughter Cynthia Stone of Utica, New York; one son Kevin Thompson of Houston, Texas; one stepson; Peter West of Onieda, New York; three brothers: Bobby Jacobs of North, Texas, David Jacobs of Waxahachie, Texas and Ronnie Jacobs of Corpus Christi, Texas; one grandson; two grand-daughters Kristin and Victoria both of Aransas Pass , Texas and three step-grandchildren. 

Funeral service was held on Trevino Funeral Home on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Lee Bevly officiating and Full Military Honors was held at the Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas.
