Memorization List for 4th, 5th, and 6th
- For Bible Memorization:
- Use any Bible translation
- Verses are generally DUE on Thursday at the beginning of class.
- Write/Print out the verses(s)
- You will not be able to study in class before you write the
verse.
- Remember, I will accept very close
approximations as correct.
- For History Memorization
- The text or reference information to memorize will be provided.
- Historical texts memorization are generally DUE on Thursday at the beginning of class.
- Write/Print out the what is memorized
- You will not be able to study in class before you write the
memorization.
- Unexcused late work will follow the school policy
- Grade converter:
- A=95, B=85, C=75
- The PLUS will be added if you are really, really close to the way it is
written in the Bible translation you are using.
A+=100, B+=89, C+=79
- Help with memorization
- Write the verses on a note card that you can carry around to study. You
will probably learn more if you write it by hand but you may use a computer
and copy/paste from Online Bible or some other Bible program.
- LOOK AHEAD...while working on the current week's assignment, read
over at least once a day the next week or two memorization
- Reading over the verses daily for several day should help you memorize
without needing to cram.
- Use the "word disappearing" method
- Memorization list: If a grade level is not listed then the assignment is
for 4th, 5th, and 6th.
