Veterans Park

is the City's largest community park at approximately 200 acres. This park is bounded by Minnesota Street on the east, Flores Street on the south, and by Viggo Road on the north. Adjacent to the park on its west side is the City’s Municipal Golf Course. Veterans Park is used by the entire city and contains the following equipment and facilities:

5 lighted baseball diamonds with bleachers
5 baseball fields with backstops
1 concession building
12 picnic tables with grills
23 picnic tables without grills
1 football/soccer field with bleachers
2 swing sets
2 slides
1 seesaw
2 covered pavilion areas
2 restroom buildings

Mopal Park is an approximately 9 acres neighborhood park bounded by W. Huntington, N. Live Oak, W. Fannin, and Hugo streets in northwest Beeville. It contains the following equipment and facilities:

4 baseball fields with backstops
1 volleyball sand pit
1 slide
2 swing sets
2 monkey bars sets
8 picnic tables
1 wading pool
1 walking/jogging trail

Klistein Park, a centrally located 2 acre neighborhood park, is bounded by N. Harrison, E. Bowie, E. Hefferman, and N. Adams streets. This park contains the following equipment and facilities:

1 baseball field with backstop
2 swing sets
1 playscape
1 monkey bars set
1 slide
3 picnic tables

Flournoy Park, a 3 acre park in the north central sector of the City, is bounded by N. Washington, E. Huntington, N. St. Mary's, and Randall streets. Flournoy Park contains the following equipment and facilities:

2 lighted tennis courts
I swing set
1 picnic table
1 monkey bars set

Poesta Park is a 33 acre community park located in the southeastern corner of the City. It is bounded by S. Adams, E. Crockett, and S. Tyler streets and contains the following equipment and facilities:

6 baseball fields with backstops
1 swing set
1merry-go-round
1 monkey bars set

Trevino Park is a 2 acre neighborhood park, bounded by S. Minnesota, Sylvia, S. Minneapolis, and Springer streets in the southwestern part of the City. It contains the following equipment and facilities:

1 basketball court with bleachers
1 baseball field with backstop
3 swing sets
1 slide
1 monkey bars set
2 picnic tables

Carlos Reyes Park is a 10 acre community park located in the extreme southwestern part of the City. It is bounded by S. AIta Vista Blvd., Powell Avenue, and S. Minnesota Street. It contains the following equipment and facilities:

I football/soccer field
4 baseball fields with backstops
3 swing sets
1 slide
1 seesaw
1 restroom building

In addition, this park is surrounded by a road that is utilized by citizens for jogging and walking.

 

Moore Park is a I acre neighborhood park located in the southeastern sector of the City. It is bounded by S. Adams, Moore, and Sarah streets, and contains the following equipment and facilities

1 basketball court
1 covered pavilion area
1 slide
1 swing set
1monkey bars set

Martin Luther King-City Pool Park is a 7 acre community park just off Highway 59 (W. Corpus Christi Street) in southwest Beeville. This park is bounded by W. Milam, Quinn, and S. Jackson streets. This park contains the following equipment and facilities:

1 municipal swimming pool
5 football/soccer fields
2 baseball fields with backstops
2 swing sets
1 slide
1 merry-go-round
2 lighted outdoor basketball courts
